Very well cared for hotel for a very reasonable price you can spend the night in a luxurious room. Everything looks new. Located right along the Eifelsteig route. A great overnight stop.

We hiked the Eifelsteig, stayed here for 3 nights and had booked the Eifelsteig impressions arrangement for 2 people in a double room. * Very nice, lovingly renovated room with a balcony overlooking the castle, through the soundproof windows without any nocturnal noises from the street, with the window open you can certainly hear the cars sleeping, but they don't drive so much at night. * absolutely friendly staff - we really felt very comfortable! * Hiking transfer worked great. * In the evening there was a little something for the lame walking legs and knee pain - THANK YOU! * Breakfast buffet was well organized despite the Corona rules, very rich, varied and tasty! THANK YOU! * The individual packed lunches for the long day of hiking were well organized by the hotel (with drink and chocolate bar - THANK YOU) We felt very comfortable and would be happy to recommend this hotel to others. Great hotel in a beautiful town. Super friendly hosts, beautiful rooms and a great breakfast are waiting for you! Centrally located with a great view from the balcony of Blankenheim Castle. We recommend!

Top hotel. Unfortunately we were accommodated on the street side. Really loud with the window open, so a star deducted. Staff very attentive and friendly!

A very, very warm welcome for me and my sister, but also for our dog. The rooms were clean and wonderful for a night or two. The buffet was absolutely great. We lacked nothing. Many regional and organic products. Especially in times of Corona very well organized and everything was super clean and according to regulations. For us everything is very relaxed as it should be. We will be back.

A great, highly recommended hotel. After a wonderful Eifelsteig stage we arrived at the hotel and were greeted very friendly. At first we got balm for the hiking feet and treats for the dog. There was also a blanket for this so that you didn't have to lug it around when hiking. The room with a balcony was spacious, clean and cozy. The minibar was well stocked and the prices were absolutely okay. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. After the long hike, we slept heavenly in the comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious too and there was everything your heart desires, including freshly prepared fried or scrambled eggs upon request from the waitress. Note: All Corona regulations were optimally complied with everywhere! An all-round recommendable hotel!

Family-run hotel with nice rooms, a swimming pool and a sauna. Next to the restaurant of the same name with rustic dishes.

Very friendly. Nice view of the castle, but not from all rooms. Clean and modern. Elevator. Free parking (from the bottom of the mountain a little further up, then left). Very good breakfast with a beautiful view of the castle.

The restaurant was horrible! Ordered a „Flammkuchen“ and I got one you can buy at the supermarket for 2€ in the frozen aisle. And I paid 7,20€ for that! The „Schnitzel“ was not even average. Definitely not recommending this if you want more than drinks.

Local food. Kindly served. Correct but not exceptional.

I can only judge the outside area in this post, as I have only been here when the weather is nice and warm. A thoroughly cozy place to stay. The food is good and the drinks menu has a good selection. The service is friendly. To be recommended. The only disadvantage: the road is sometimes very busy and the traffic noise is sometimes a bit loud. But it is manageable!

Part of the hotel has been renovated recently. I had one of those single rooms, superb. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Nice view over the little town and up to the mansion on the rock. Town centre is pictoresque.
